Falcon's Egg by Luli Gray

As Falcon was walking to meet her mother, a big red egg caught her eye. She went over to take care of it. (It was not in a nest.) But it was too hot to touch! So she wrapped it up in her rain hat.
This mysterious and magical story will take you to a life of responsibility, affection and devotion. You will be on the edge of your seat wondering if this will be the end of Egg. Sit back and try to relax as you find yourself finding an egg soon to bring you mystery and many adventures. It is hard to keep a big thing secret.

Wow, Elizabeth!! You really make these books sound like best sellers! I found myself wanting to know more as I read about them. You write so beautifully!! How do you choose the books you read? Are they recommended to you, or do you choose them yourself? Maybe you could write these for a newspaper in a "book recommendations" section or something. Maybe for your class, or the school? Perhaps I can start some sort of classroom newspaper in my class, and you could help get the book recommendations section started? Just some thoughts...you have an amazing way of inspiring others!!
